Historic Downtown Greenville Buildings to New Music Venues

Greenville

The Mockingbird (330 South Main Street) and Coach Music Factory (310 South Main Street) are two new music venue projects expanding the campus of the Peace Center in downtown Greenville, South Carolina.

The Mockingbird is the redevelopment of the historic Gullick and Markley buildings into a 5,400-square-foot intimate venue with a capacity of approximately 180 guests. The first floor houses the performance space, while the second floor features an Arts Education Center which offers dedicated instructional space, collaboration areas and a conference room for the performing arts center’s education programming, in addition to three artist dorms, creating a dedicated environment for both live performances and artist development.

The Coach Music Factory transforms the historic Roe Coach Factory Building into a music club built to accommodate up to 1,100 patrons. Guests can enjoy clear views of the stage from both the main floor and the mezzanine. Behind the stage, retractable glass garage doors open onto an outdoor patio, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. The venue features three full-service bars, ensuring convenient access to drinks from any area. On the third floor, a dedicated private event space is available for weddings, corporate gatherings, and other special occasions.

Together, these projects significantly expand the live music scene and creative production opportunities adjacent to the Peace Center campus and Downtown Greenville.
